Auckland - Part Time Studio Assistant

About the role

Bare Jewellery is an upcoming fashion jewellery brand based in Auckland, New Zealand. It is born from the love for fashion & doing creative things. We believe accessories are the cherry on top of a cool outfit and we want our customers to feel confident when they are wearing our pieces. We are on the hunt for a studio assistant who can help out with packing orders, handling inbound stock, quality checking and customer service. A passion for jewellery & fashion is a PLUS!


This role is a part-time role, starting from 2 days a week from our Auckland central-based studio. This position requires working on Monday and Wednesday/Thursday 9:00 am-5 pm.  There may be additional work hours, sometimes on the weekends during peak sale seasons.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Display positive "can do" attitude
  • Capable of working at a fast pace and coping with high workload times


What you will be doing:

  • Pick, pack and dispatch orders
  • Dispatch customer orders keep excellence in packaging and presentation and hit timeline targets each day/week
  • Assisting in other dispatch areas and tasks including keeping the studio tidy and safe, as required and directed
  • Sorting out stock and quality-checking our products
  • Reporting
  • Data entry and filing
  • Assisting with monthly stock takes on request
  • Assisting in customer service & customer relationship building
  • Assisting in other tasks in studio when required


Our ideal candidate has the following characteristics and experiences:

  • Based in Auckland, New Zealand
  • Experiences in customer service/retail/fashion/hospitality
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and in professional email writing
  • Compassionate, honest, reliable and a quick-learner
  • Basic admin skills (Google Workspace, excel, etc.)
  • Love for fashion & jewellery, keeping up with the latest trend on social platforms
  • Can commit to the given shifts
